    Ohio (OH) - How to make a Tax payment

      Steps to Make a Payment


      1. Go to OH|TAX eServices through the Ohio Department of Taxation website.
      2. Log in or select the available payment option.
      3. Select Individual Income Tax.
      4. Choose the appropriate payment type:
        • Return / Balance Due
        • Estimated Tax Payment – IT 1040ES
        • Extension Payment – IT 40P, when applicable
      5. Select the correct tax year.
      6. Enter the payment amount.
      7. Enter the requested banking/payment information.
      8. Review the payment information carefully.
      9. Submit the payment.
      10. Save or print the confirmation for your records.
